Oklahoma City · semester classes
Ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, and more — taught with patience, for elementary and high school students who are just starting, and for the parents who bring them.

A new studio
Abigail Dance Studio is a calm, carefully kept room where beginning dancers can learn real technique without the pressure of a pre-professional track. Classes are semester-based, so students enroll for the term, keep a regular time, and grow with the same group.
The work is serious. The feeling is kind. Parents know where their child will be, what they are learning, and that nobody is expected to arrive already knowing the steps.
What we teach
Students can try more than one style as they grow. The studio stays open to the dances that belong in a well-rounded young dancer.

Posture, line, and musicality — the quiet foundation. Taught without the icy studio stereotype.

Sharp, bright, and fun. Counts, character, and the kind of confidence that shows up in the rest of life.

Groove, musicality, and self-expression. A room where trying something new is the whole point.

Floor work, breath, and honest movement. Contemporary lines, without the pressure.
Who it’s for
First pliés, first counts, first confidence. Small enough to feel known. Patient enough for the child who is unsure, and for the one who already loves to move.
Technique with room to explore. A place to begin as a teenager without feeling behind — and a place to keep going if dance is becoming theirs.
How it works
No drop-in scramble. Students enroll for the term, show up to the same class each week, and finish with something they can feel.
Pick a class, hold the spot, and plan the calendar. Parents know the commitment before the first class.
A regular time, a familiar room, and a group that grows together. Consistency is how beginners become dancers.
Each semester has a beginning and an end. Then you choose the next one — same style, a new style, or a pause.
Tell us the student’s age and the styles they’re curious about. We’ll help you find the right class.
